Starting as a junior developer, AXSMarine provided me with unparalleled learning opportunities and mentorship, which paved the way to who I am today. Over the past decade, I’ve honed product management, technical, and problem-solving skills. I’ve developed a strategic mindset and gained a deep understanding of maritime business dynamics. What is the coolest thing about your job?

The most exciting aspect of my job is the opportunity to work together with our amazing teams, to craft products that not only incorporate cutting-edge technology but also directly tackle real-world business challenges. Observing how these solutions empower our clients and drive their success is truly the coolest and most fulfilling part of my role.

Which is the easiest way to deal with challenges?

Challenges and “failures” are just a natural part of growth. They serve as an opportunity to pause, to analyze the situation, and reflect on what you could have done differently to avoid the setback. Learning from past experiences and taking the next step forward become integral to the journey. Having supportive colleagues who offer constructive feedback and fresh perspective allows you to advance, grow and succeed. So, the easiest way to deal with failures and challenges is simple: Don’t let them stop you.

What are your favorite ways to spend your free time?

I find immense joy in both travel and photography because they enable me to capture the beauty and diversity of the world. Engaging with different cultures, meeting people from across the globe, and learning about their history, nature, and customs become integral to the journey. All of that expands my perspective and way of thinking. Through photography I’m able to freeze these special moments in time, preserving stories and emotions that can be shared with others. The combination of exploration and creativity allows me to connect with the world on a deeper level. When I come back to work, I’ve fresh eyes on the problems we are trying to solve.

What is the thing that you value most in your colleagues?

Their dedication, professionalism, and passion for what we do; their care for our teams, products, and clients - these qualities define our exceptional team. Their sense of humor, openness and support. I can certainly go on until I exhaust all superlatives in the dictionary, but the fact remains. AXSMarine wouldn’t have been what it’s today – a leader in the market for almost a quarter of a century, and a great company to work with and grow with, without the people making it up.
