As a VP Customer Success at AXSMarine, while leading the support and account management Andrey is focused on facilitating cross-team collaboration and optimizing internal processes to ensure the company delivers top-notch customer service.
What is your mission in AXSMarine?
I’d say that my mission in AXSMarine is to facilitate cross-department collaboration and improve internal processes, so we can all be one big cohesive team. All that aims to provide the best possible service for our clients. The company has been around for 23 years now with a constantly and continuously growing client base, so obviously things are working well. But things can always be better, done smarter and optimized. So, I’d say that my mission is to improve what can be improved and optimize what can be optimized.
Knowing what you know now, what advice would you give your 18-year-old self?
Probably a lot, not just one (jokingly). But if I had to name just one, it’d be that nothing you learn in life is in vain. No matter how small or how niche it may seem at the time. For instance, when I started participating in the organization of government elections as soon as I turned 18, I certainly didn’t realize how much that would help me later with things like public speaking, being organized and even leading a team.
Who inspires you the most at AXSMarine?
My colleagues and my manager, in particular. It’s delightful to work among like-minded professionals with a splendid work ethic and have fun at the same time. The "work hard, play hard" approach is evident, and witnessing their dedication day in and day out motivates me to go above and beyond. Moreover, my manager is the best mentor I could have ever asked for, challenging me with new tasks and responsibilities while consistently supporting me when needed.
How do you manage work life balance?
I’m incredibly happy that everyone in the company respects personal boundaries and understands that some things in life are more important than others. If you take time off and want to switch-off completely, you got it. If you have a family emergency, your colleagues and your boss would understand. That way you actually want to give more and go the extra mile.
If you could describe AXSMarine in one word, what would it be and why?
Efficiency. When I joined AXSMarine six to seven years ago, I realized the significance of selling products I genuinely believe in. Transitioning from a salesperson who intrudes on others to someone who helps people save time and improve their efficiency was a transformative experience. AXSMarine embodies efficiency, enabling clients to perform their tasks better and more effectively.
