Role

The person on this position will be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining application software in good coordination between Development teams and Business team. We are looking for a self-driven leader who has strong technical knowledge, complemented by a problem-solving mindset, team player qualities, excellent organizational and communication skills. The Technical Lead will report to AXSMarine’s Chief Technology Officer.

Requirements

• 4+ experience in building applications with big datasets
• Proven track record in leading software products development in a fast-paced international environment
• Excellent ability to listen and understand the need of the business and translate it in the most appropriate technical architecture
• Strong technical expertise and web development background with PHP, JavaScript, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
• Excellent people leading skills that contribute to an open and collaborative environment
• Strong initiative and autonomy
• Pragmatic/realistic, stay calm under pressure
• Fluent written and verbal English

Responsibilities

• Understand the technical and software needs and issues relevant to the activity of AXSMarine to provide appropriate technical solutions.
• Manage the organization of technical teams and lead them to successful execution and implementation of said technical solutions.
• Take technical decisions on product development possibilities while ensuring its successful and timely release.
• Ensure a permanent technical watch of the technologies deployed within the company to have perfect control and understanding.
• Ensure a technological development monitoring and be a force for proposing new technologies adapted to the objectives and problems of the company.
• Initiate best practices that provide foundation for high quality product development.
